Line Maintenance Manager – Dublin Airport
We are seeking applicants for the position of Line Maintenance Manager based at Dublin Airport. The Line Maintenance Manager is the Nominated Person, acceptable to the Authority as required by EASA Part 145.A.30(b). The LMM reports to the Chief Operations Officer and has direct access to the Accountable Manager.
Responsibilities
* The overall management of the Line Maintenance Department under EASA Part 145.
* Notify the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards.
* Ensure Safety Management System reports are reviewed and processed in accordance with procedures.
* Implement the safety policy and human factor issues.
* Identify/implement Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions or any compliance deficiencies arising from audits.
* Ensure that all line maintenance including line defect rectification is carried out to the standards specified.
* Ensure that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
* Ensure the availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the work being performed.
* Ensure the competency of all personnel engaged in maintenance.
* Establish a programme of training and continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
* Ensure the availability of facilities appropriate to the planned work, including hangars, workshops, office accommodation, and stores as applicable.
* Ensure a production planning system appropriate to the amount and complexity of the maintenance scope of work.
* Ensure the availability of tools, equipment and materials to perform the planned tasks.
* Ensure the availability of all necessary maintenance data.
* Record and notify any inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedure, practice, information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
* A relevant aeronautical degree or aircraft maintenance technician qualification (EASA Part 66 License).
* Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
* Knowledge of the aircraft through formalised training courses.
* Knowledge of maintenance methods.
* Knowledge of applicable regulations, both EASA and UK CAA.
