Job Title: Head of Finance – Reporting & ERP (Education Sector)

Who should apply

Ideal for a senior finance professional with strong reporting and systems experience gained in complex environments.

* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 10+ years' PQE
* In-depth experience in financial reporting and external audit management
* Expertise in financial IT systems
* Strong governance and stakeholder engagement experience
* Proven track record leading and developing finance teams


Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the CFO and as part of the Finance Leadership Team, you will lead external financial reporting and systems development. Responsibilities include:

* Financial Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate consolidated financial statements
* Audit Management: Lead audit engagements and ensure full compliance with public sector standards
* Stakeholder Engagement: Present to internal and external governance bodies
* ERP Leadership: Oversee financial systems integration and improvement across the organisation
* Digital Finance: Champion automation and real-time data reporting initiatives
* Governance & Policy: Maintain accounting policies and technical guidance frameworks
* People Leadership: Lead and develop a senior finance team across reporting and systems
* Transformation: Contribute to ongoing change initiatives within the wider Finance function
