Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team.

* The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing all purchase invoices in a timely manner, across multiple business units.
* Weekly and monthly supplier payment runs will also be performed by this role.
* Monthly supplier reconciliations to statements must be carried out accurately.
* This position will support purchasers in identifying non-conforming purchase orders.
* Supplier queries and requests will be resolved and closed out promptly.
* Accurate reporting on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis is essential.
* Month-end process steps must be completed in line with agreed timelines.
* Filing, documentation, and sensitive information will be maintained and protected in accordance with record handling and retention requirements.
* This role will assist with year-end audit and internal audit work as required.
* General administrative tasks, including reception cover, phone cover, data entry, and mail management, will be supported.
* A positive organisational reputation will be contributed to through professional, friendly, and respectful interactions and communications.


Key Responsibilities

* Process all purchase invoices in a timely manner.
* Perform weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
* Carry out monthly supplier reconciliations to statements.
* Support purchasers in identifying non-conforming purchase orders.
* Resolve and close out supplier queries and requests.
* Maintain accurate reporting on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
* Complete month-end process steps in line with agreed timelines.
* Maintain accurate filing, documentation, and sensitive information.
* Assist with year-end audit and internal audit work.
* Support general administrative tasks.


Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field preferred.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
