The role involves managing site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting maintenance and fault rectification.ResponsibilitiesSupervise electrical installation of conveyor systems including wiring, panels, sensors, and motors to ensure quality and complianceLead and coordinate technicians on‑site to achieve timely and safe completion of electrical tasksTroubleshoot electrical faults and system issues promptly to minimize downtimeSupport testing, commissioning, and system handover to ensure operational readinessEnsure all electrical work complies with safety standards and site requirements to maintain a safe work environmentRead and interpret electrical drawings and schematics accurately to guide installation and maintenanceLiaise effectively with engineers, clients, and subcontractors on‑site to coordinate project activitiesPrepare daily reports detailing work progress, issues encountered, and manpower utilizationRequired competencies and certificationsDiploma, Nitec, or Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical workPossess Class 3 driving licence for commercial vehiclePreferred competencies and qualificationsExperience with conveyor systems or warehouse automationStrong troubleshooting and hands‑on skills in electrical systemsAbility to lead a small team on‑siteWillingness to travel between project sites and work overtime as requiredExperience with sensors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and basic programmable logic controllers (PLC)Knowledge of safety practices including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work systemsExperience working in warehouse, airport, or logistics projects
