Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Control
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations in collaboration finance team.
* Manage cash collection, credit control, and cashflow forecasting.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs, and profitability analysis.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to achieve EBITDA targets.
* Coordinate payroll, VAT, and statutory reporting (in partnership with external accountants).
* Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
Sales & Customer Support
* Act as the central point of contact for customer queries, orders, and invoicing.
* Support the sales team with data insights, call lists, and performance dashboards.
* Maintain and develop CRM and accounting systems to ensure data accuracy.
* Analyse customer buying patterns and market trends to inform commercial strategy.
* Assist with marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
Leadership & Office Coordination
* Line manage the finance team and oversee back-office operations.
* Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
* Contribute to the Irish Leadership Team on commercial and strategic matters.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to link financial data to business strategy.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Proficient in Excel and financial/CRM systems (e.g. Xero, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Desirable:
* Experience in a sales support or commercial finance role.
* Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or agri-tech sectors.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
