Business Engagement Coordinator The role to acquire and retain businesses engagement with BITCI, and to support alignment of messaging and processes in delivering the One BITCI proposition.
Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) is excited to invite candidates to apply for the position of Business Engagement Coordinator in BITCI's Business Engagement Team.
Purpose of the role: To work with the Business Engagement team to acquire and retain businesses engagement with BITCI, and to support alignment of proposition and systems to support One BITCI.
Job Summary Permanent role Full-Time 35 hours per week- subject to a 6-month probationary period.
Salary € 36,000-€42,000 per annum DOE.
The role is based in Dublin (hybrid role, minimum 2 days in the office).
Requires flexibility to attend events, primarily in Dublin but occasionally in other cities.
Minimum of three years' experience of working directly with business - business development, account management, client project delivery or similar.
Knowledge of corporate responsibility as applied in large businesses.
Strong IT skills with full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Description The role of Business Engagement Coordinator is to work with the Business Engagement team to acquire and retain businesses engagement with BITCI, and to support alignment of messaging and processes in delivering the One BITCI proposition.
The role will require strong engagement with all teams in BITCI teams.
Core Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring best practice in account management.
Report on account engagement and opportunities Update CRM on business development opportunities for potential and existing business accounts Support the Business Engagement team and CEO on specific business development opportunities, including support with presentations and proposal writing.
Support the team in the development of the One BITCI proposition and associated processes.
Support the Compelling Pathways project – Goal 1 of BITCI strategy Support the delivery and facilitation of internal and client meetings and workshops.
Person Specification Qualifications: Educated to degree level (or with equivalent experience) preferably in business or social sciences.
Experience: Minimum of three years' experience of working directly with business - business development, account management, client project delivery, or similar.
Knowledge of corporate responsibility and sustainability as applied in large businesses.
Knowledge of the various business sectoral networks and civil society organisations in Ireland.
Computer literate and fully conversant with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Other desirable skills and experience: Client-driven attitude and professional demeanour Strong relationship management and networking skills Strong presentation skills Conscientious with excellent attention to detail Problem-solving and planning Awareness of best practice models in corporate responsibility and sustainability management.
Technical knowledge in at least one area of environmental, social and governance is a plus.
Experience in CRM and/or Microsoft dynamics 365 an advantage Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team with multiple tasks and deadlines.
Professional and client-driven attitude.
High degree of attention to detail and thoroughness.
Excellent communication, research, writing, and presentation skills.
Strong time and project management skills.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to the values of Business in the Community Ireland.

There may be other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time, and the coordinator will be expected to support the Business Engagement Team as needed, in line with the overall organisational objectives of BITCI.
