Role: Financial Controller

About the position:
Due to continued expansion my client, an established market leader in the Services sector, is seeking to hire an experienced Financial Controller who can help them reach their targets.
A commercial strategist who can map out new opportunities for growth and strengthen their current relationships whilst supporting the COO on all things operational, from a finance lens for their 100+ employees.
The Financial Controller will have full responsibility of the finance function.
As a key member of the senior leadership team you will be involved in strategic plan including planning, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement / implementations.
Externally, you will build relationships with partnership organisations, insurers auditors and banks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall ownership of the finance function including; management accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, transactions, audit and compliance
Compliance – Implement and maintain robust internal compliance and controls
Audit – Maintain relationships with external audit and coordination of year end audit
Provide leadership and expertise on technical accounting situations
Commercial accounting
Provide leadership, direction and management to your team
Experience Required:
Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Proven experience of assisting in the growth strategy of a €*******m t/o business
Experience of reporting to an MD and board
SAP S4 HANA
Excellent relationship builder with finance and non finance
Proven business strategist and adviser
