This manufacturing facility is a 30,000-square-meter global centre of excellence for a large Diabetes Care business. A state of the art, fully electric facility that currently employs over 800 people.
The business is looking to attract a very experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee the progress of business-critical projects. This role is pivotal to enabling the organisation to reach its ambitious timelines to operational readiness across all manufacturing suites onsite.
This is initially a 12-month contract with potential to extend.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the Engineering Project Team, you will be part of the larger Technical Engineering Department with responsibility to lead an integrated project team in delivering the project business case. Responsibilities include but is not limited to: Process improvements, capital projects and Lean projects across multi-disciplined functions which may also require global and network support and collaboration
Additional responsibilities include:
Work within the PMO to support the delivery of top tier projects across the site.
Oversee line installations, qualifying through to operational handover for key work packages at the site.
Support the development and maintenance of the scope and timelines. Adequately resource core team in support of scope and schedule targets.
Coordinate and present the typical project progress reports at team meetings.
Develop project scope, cost and delivery time schedule, working and collaborating closely with technical engineering leads, manufacturing and quality teams onsite to ensure integration into ongoing Validations and technical transfers.
Act as a subject matter expert on equipment qualification; assisting in C&Q execution planning; system boundary definition, risk management, User Requirement Specs and requirements traceability matrix, FAT/SAT and C&Q protocol development, project implementation.
Experience
Third level degree qualified in a technical/ engineering discipline.
Have a minimum of 5 years' working in a GMP environment - Pharma or Medical Device experience is preferable.
Experience managing project teams across a range of work including line qualifications and NPI.
Be collaborative in your approach to work and an effective communicator.
Engage cross functionally to deliver on key project milestones in conjunction with the Project Team.
Autonomous and a self-starter.
Experience working on client-side is required.
Have a high level of accountability and meticulous attention to detail.
