The Packaging Technologist role supports the production of finished products by carrying out routine manufacturing and packaging activities in a GMP-regulated environment. This is an entry-level position, ideal for candidates looking to build a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and develop technical skills on the shop floor. It is a fixed term role for 11 months.
How You Will Contribute
Perform routine manufacturing and packaging activities in line with SOPs and GMP requirements
Assemble components and package finished products accurately and efficiently
Operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on manufacturing and packaging equipment
Apply basic quality checks and report deviations or issues promptly
Follow EHS standards to ensure a safe working environment
Support routine equipment maintenance and cleaning activities
Work collaboratively within the team and participate in shift handovers
Use basic arithmetic for production and packaging calculations
Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment, as required
Support production schedules and understand their impact on operations
What You Bring to Takeda
Basic understanding of GMP and quality requirements (training will be provided)
Ability to follow procedures and work accurately in a regulated environment
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Willingness to learn equipment operation and basic automation processes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production is an advantage
