We’re working with a well‑established, independently owned hospitality group to recruit a commercially focused Sales & Events Lead. This role suits a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering high‑quality events across corporate, private and leisure markets.
What you’ll do
* Lead sales activity for accommodation and events, developing strategies to grow revenue across domestic and international channels.
* Source and convert new business: corporate accounts, agencies and event organisers.
* Manage the full event lifecycle from enquiry to post‑event review, ensuring high standards and smooth operations.
* Liaise with internal teams to coordinate logistics, catering and guest services.
* Produce proposals, manage budgets, negotiate contracts and oversee invoicing and deposits.
* Track and report on pipeline, bookings and financial performance.
* Use CRM/booking systems and online channels to drive visibility and reservations.
* Provide occasional front‑line event support as required.
Who we’re looking for
* At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality sales/events or similar.
* Demonstrable success in hitting sales targets and growing accounts.
* Comfortable engaging with corporate clients, agencies, and tour/booking partners.
* Organised, confident communicator and a natural relationship builder.
* Familiarity with online distribution channels, OTAs and basic analytics.
* Proficient with MS Office and common booking/CRM tools.
