Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Coordinator
About the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily production schedules, managing transport and logistics, and providing essential administrative support.
Your Key Responsibilities:1. Order Management & Customer Communication: Handle the orders inbox, enter orders into Sage 50, and communicate with customers regarding order status and updates.2. Production Planning & Coordination: Work closely with the Production Supervisor to schedule daily production and record output and bale usage.3. Logistics & Transport: Organise deliveries, schedule pallet collections, and coordinate with transport companies.4. Cross-Departmental Support: Liaise with the Sales Team on order requirements and assist the Finance Team with documentation.5. Reporting & Inventory: Upload PODs, conduct weekly bale counts, and compile data for weekly production and logistics reporting.
What We Are Looking For:- Proven experience in a planning or coordination role within a similar operational environment.- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Sage 50 or similar systems preferred.- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining clear and professional communication.- Capable of working independently, showing initiative, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.- Reliable and punctual, with a flexible, positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
