Senior HR Advisor Job Description
The Senior HR Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of our multi-site organisation across the UK. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR solutions that meet the needs of our employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment & Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes across multiple locations
* Compliance & Policy: Maintain and update HR policies in line with current employment legislation across jurisdictions
* Employee Relations: Provide first-line support for managers and employees on ER matters including absence, performance, and conduct
* Payroll & Benefits: Ensure accurate payroll inputs, manage employee benefits, and support retention initiatives
* HR Administration: Oversee employee records, contracts, and data management in line with GDPR and statutory requirements
* Learning & Development: Support the delivery of training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement
* HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain HR systems, track key HR metrics (e.g. absence, turnover), and provide actionable insights
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an HR Advisor or Generalist role, ideally in a multi-site environment
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of employment law in both UK & Northern Ireland
* Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle
* Confident handling employee relations and advising managers
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficient in HR systems, data management, and Microsoft Office
