Position Summary NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our expanding Power Generation Energy Systems team, who will be responsible for all commercial functions related to major projects, which typically comprise design build of integrated electrical, mechanical and control system solutions.
Experience within Power Generation, Substations, Oil Gas or Datacentre industries would be highly desirable.
The role is offered as a full-time staff position, based out of our Cork Office, with an excellent Salary and Benefits package.

Key Responsibilities Project Tendering Review design drawings, specifications and scope/contract documents to determine the scope of works and tender deliverables, and identify potential risks or scope gaps Develop and maintain standardised pricing models to ensure consistency across projects Prepare internal costings for projects, including preparation of BOQs and RFQs to suppliers and sub-contractors Prepare commercial aspects of customer quotations/proposals, and collaborate with engineers to prepare comprehensive and well-integrated offers Attend customer and internal meetings as required to ensure successful tendering Project Cost Control Track project progress and preparing payment applications to customers as well as submitting invoice requests to NeoDyne's accounts department Manage scope/cost variations, and ensure scope creepage is minimised Prepare and coordinate RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors, including coordinating input/review from technical stakeholders Prepare bid analysis for bought ins as required Prepare and execute purchase orders and subcontract agreements, including negotiating terms and conditions Manage and assess payment applications from suppliers and subcontractors Perform cash flow and cost forecasting, and identify any deviations from budget Perform earned value reports for larger or long-duration projects Track overall profitability of projects, and escalate issues to management Ensure retention is released as per contract Attend customer sites as required to assess progress against commercial milestone General Develop and maintain strong understanding of NeoDyne's business model and technical solutions provided withing the Power Generation and Energy Systems business unit Work closely and proactively with management, engineering teams, and finance team to ensure successful overall operation of the business Introduce and embed best practices for cost tracking, variation management, and reporting across the business area Provide assistance and support to project managers and engineers on commercial and contractual topics Identify areas for process improvement in estimating, project control, and reporting systems Attend internal and customer meetings as required to assist in successful project delivery Experience Skills Required Level 8 Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, or Engineering Degree 5+ years of experience in cost management in the Power Generation, Substations, Oil Gas or Datacentre industries Experience in formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations Proven track record of managing customer variations, claims, and contract negotiations Experience assessing claims from sub-contractors Understanding of control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment related to power generation.
Familiarity with FIDIC and NEC forms of contract Proficient in interpreting quantities from technical drawings, SLDs, P IDs, and system specifications Desired Full clean Irish/ EU driving license Strong customer relationship management skills and technical support abilities Characteristics We look for candidates who Work well as part of a team.
