A Day in the Life
You will be responsible for leading a global operations team that shapes manufacturing architecture to successfully develop and launch new products that meet cost, quality, and supply goals for the business.
Your role includes providing program leadership to drive strategic and tactical activities for operations on New Product Development Core teams. Responsibilities may include:
* Leading the Extended Operations Team comprising Supply Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Development, Packaging, and Supply Chain to ensure timely and budget-friendly performance throughout the new product development cycle.
* Championing the Voice of Operations (VOO) and driving planning and execution to ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment between operations and core team functions.
* Tracking and managing Operations KPIs such as Predictive LBM's, Predictive RTY's, Capacity Planning & BOM Readiness.
* Demonstrating strong financial acumen with managing direct expense, capital, unit pricing, and free cash flow.
* Leading Design Transfer and Commercial Build Readiness to ensure quality system compliance and achieve production readiness and successful product launches.
You will be a strong communicator with the ability to lead and influence between Extended Operations Team and Core Team. You will also coach and develop extended Operations members to help individuals advance their skills and careers.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Program Manager leading large-scale new product development programs. They will also have a proven track record of success in operations with depth of knowledge in at least two operations functions.
