Situated along the breath taking Wild Atlantic Way on the N59 in Sligo, our store offers an incredible lifestyle opportunity alongside a rewarding career. Our current setup includes a Centra store and a Circle K filling station, providing a dynamic retail environment that serves both locals and holiday makers along this scenic route.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively while providing our customers with the very best service and fresh food offerings. Deliver on key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations.

Relevant Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior management position (either as an Assistant Manager or Store Manager).
* Passion for grocery retail and delivering exceptional service.
* An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets.
* Organised, self-driven, excellent attention to detail and use own initiative.
* Working knowledge of the CBE system is desirable.
* Working knowledge of the Musgrave business model is a distinct advantage.
* Strong knowledge and experience in reading and actioning reports.
* Previous experience leading a team.
* Excellent communication and delegation skills.
* Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Main Duties:
* Oversee store operations, prioritising and delegating workload effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including food safety, health & safety, and employment laws.
* Manage performance, employee development, and store targets to drive profitability.
* Maintain high merchandising and store presentation standards at all times.
* Embrace and implement new initiatives, staying ahead in the retail industry.
* Fully engage with the values of the Centra brand—Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based.
* Build strong relationships with the local community, customers, and employees.
