Responsibilities include evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and presenting findings to management and regional boards. The role also involves risk consulting, process improvement, and oversight of the Dublin audit team. Additionally, it supports the Head of Internal Audit WUPSIL, acts as deputy when needed, and contributes to regulatory activities under the Central Bank of Ireland's Control Function (CF2) framework.Assist in managing department operations, including audit planning, resource allocation, scheduling and participates in annual risk assessment and planningMonitor and report audit progress against the annual planContribute to department-wide strategy, including staffing, recruitment, training, and methodology enhancementsLead selected audits end-to-end, including planning, execution, reporting, and administration in compliance with IIA StandardsDesign and execute audit strategies to assess key controls and identify operational improvementsDevelop and apply data analytics to support audit objectivesEvaluate processes, systems under development, and organizational change programsIdentify root causes of control issues and recommend improvements; prepare executive summaries for senior managementFacilitate meetings with senior stakeholders and present audit findingsProvide people management for Internal Audit Manager and Auditors in the Dublin officeCoach, mentor, and supervise staff, offering regular feedback and development supportParticipate in due diligence activities, such as regional acquisitionsMaintain and update risk assessments for the audit universeRecommend enhancements to audit methodology and practicesRole RequirementsUniversity degree or higher level qualificationMinimum 10 years' experience in Audit or related risk / compliance fieldCertification as a CIA, ACA, CFE, CISA or other equivalent is requiredPreferred greater than 2-4 years in a management capacity.Preferred 2-4 years Big 4 experienceWe make financial services accessible to humans everywhere.
