Financial Controller- Reporting to CEO Hybrid Role ( 2 days a week in the Office) Ideally person will have worked in a Phamaceutical/ Healthcare Sector Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including necessary journal entries. ? Actively participate in management meetings by providing financial and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making. ? Oversee the Finance, Accounting, Stock Control, and Payroll functions to ensure efficient operations. ? Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring that all changes in business assumptions and financial impacts are accurately reflected. ? Contribute to shaping the companys strategic direction through financial leadership and analysis. ? Deliver relevant, accurate, and timely financial reporting and analysis to support business performance. ? Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support key operational and strategic decisions. ? Implement and monitor effective cost control initiatives to drive cost efficiency across the organisation. ? Manage cash flow by forecasting, tracking, and maintaining optimal liquidity levels. ? Prepare, reconcile, and file payroll tax returns in compliance with statutory requirements. ? Coordinate all tax and company secretarial filings, ensuring full compliance for the group of companies. ? Maximise the companys benefit from R&D tax credits and other applicable financial incentives. ? Manage foreign currency exposure and oversee the companys treasury policy. ? Compile and analyse financial data for financial statements, budgets, and internal reporting. ? Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. ? Support the commercial team with pricing analysis and review of commercial agreements with partners. ? Serve as the key liaison with external auditors during the annual audit process. ? Represent the finance function at board meetings, management meetings, staff meetings, and other events as requested by the CEO. ? Ensure the business has appropriate and adequate insurance coverage in place in consultation with brokers. ?
