Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager – 12 Month FTC
We have a super Senior Marketing & BD Manager role available within a leading well established global law firm in Dublin.
ABOUT THE TEAM AND YOUR ROLE
As a member of our Business Development (BD) & team, you will play a key role in supporting the Partners in our Dublin office. This is a broad role where you will take ownership of developing, managing, and executing targeted business development plans to drive growth and create new client opportunities. You will lead the delivery of BD and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with the firm's growth objectives, collaborating with sector, key client, and international teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.
DUTIES
• Work with the partners to identify the growth opportunities across Ireland, developing and implementing business plans that align with the firm's strategic and the sector priorities;
• Support partners and their teams in business development targeting activities by regularly monitoring and measuring ROI;
• Lead and support the full bid and tender process, including developing bid strategies, formulating winning propositions, coordinating with Pricing and Design teams, and managing post-bid debriefs;
• Support Partners with client presentations, capability statements and other materials in line with the firm's visual identity and brand;
• Lead and support the delivery of campaigns, client events and the BD activity that runs alongside events and seminars;
• Provide insights and research-driven analysis to identify growth opportunities, prioritise key topics, and support the development of new and existing client relationships in alignment with business development plans;
• Be an ambassador for our technologies, specifically, our CRM platform (InterAction) and central bids resource (Foundation) to ensure their use is optimised to support BD activities and opportunities;
• Support in the co-ordination of legal directories;
• Drive the identification and pursuit of PR opportunities that align with growth priorities, enhancing Partner profiles and showcasing the firm's expertise;
• Directly manage a Business Development & Marketing Executive, ensuring effective support for Partners and maintaining up to date content and credentials on our content management platform;
YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proven track record of business development and client relationship management in a law firm or professional services organisation.
Collaborative team player with a strong ability to engage and work across functions, fostering alignment and encouraging best practice across the business.
Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities amid competing priorities and deadlines.
Trusted relationship builder, able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with colleagues, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
