Scope and General Purpose of Job:
As part of The Stables Brasserie & Bar management team, the Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service in line with the hotel's 5 star standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest care.
Working closely with management, the role focuses on leading the team during service, ensuring the brasserie is fully prepared for each shift, and consistently exceeding guest expectations in a professional and welcoming environment.
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Train, supervise, and motivate team members while fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure the Brasserie & Bar is fully prepared and set up for each service period.
Maintain stock control and place orders as required.
Greet guests warmly, provide detailed menu and beverage information, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Manage reservations and coordinate bookings for individuals and larger parties.
Uphold company standards in service, hygiene, and licensing compliance.
Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
Required Experience:
Proven experience in a similar supervisory role coming from a similar 5 star luxury.
Strong food and beverage knowledge, including service standards and beverage expertise.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team while exceeding guest expectations.
Fluent proven written and spoken English.
This is a full-time, rostered position including weekends.
