* Job Title: Patient Transport Administrator
* Reports To: Patient Transport Coordinator

* Hours: 20 hours a week (9.00am - 1.00pm, Mon-Fri)
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Location: Hybrid model - remote and Dublin 4 office
* Office Days: Wednesday & Thursday
* Salary: €31,500 FTE per annum; Pro Rata for 20 hours: €18,000
About the Role
The Irish Cancer Society provides a free transport service for referred patients, supporting them through volunteer-delivered transportation. As the Patient Transport Administrator, you will manage bookings, process referrals, engage with hospitals, handle financial applications, and gather patient feedback for service improvement.
Main Duties
1. Manage referral information and update the patient database.
2. Contact patients, take bookings, and input data into CRM (Dynamics).
3. Process financial support applications.
4. Handle incoming calls and emails, addressing logistic issues and supporting patients.
5. Assist with patient feedback surveys and service improvement initiatives.
6. Build relationships with stakeholders and support internal teams.
7. Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
* Degree or professional qualification in social work, community development, or related field; relevant experience considered.
* At least 3 years experience in service delivery or community support.
* Empathetic understanding of patient needs.
* Team player with initiative.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools.
