Business Project Manager
Initially 6 months daily rate contract
Dublin City center (min 2 days per week onsite)
My client have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the execution of a core business strategy, involving an organisation restructure to bring 3 entities together. We are looking for a talented individual who can quickly become productive and has the skills to structure, lead and execute a mix of cross-divisional business workstreams.
Suitable candidates will have a proven track record with strong project management skills, knowledge and discipline.
* Minimum 10 years project management experience
* Experience and proven ability to manage large and complex cross-divisional strategic business projects with multiple workstreams
* Experience working in large corporate environments
* Experience working in mergers or company reorganisations is desirable
* Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills
Standard PM Responsibilities include;
* Hands on leadership of implementation/delivery
* Deliver on time, on budget and to the expected quality
* Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working cross-functionally
* Effective communications at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required
* Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and divisional teams
* Support the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables with key stakeholders
* Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks and critical path and manage these proactively
* Develop and maintain full scale project plans
* Define project tasks and resource requirements
* Assemble, coordinate, manage and control project resources and tasks
* Budget management, control and reporting
* Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies
* Provide direction and support to project team
* Quality Assurance
* Project Closure and Benefits Realisation review
