We are recruiting on behalf of a global payments and financial technology organisation for an experienced
Payroll Supervisor
to lead and oversee payroll delivery for Ireland and selected international locations. This is a hands-on, on-site role in Dublin, working closely with HR, Finance, and external partners within a complex, regulated environment.
The role
* Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for Ireland and selected EMEA payrolls
* Act as the primary contact for payroll audits, including engagement with external auditors
* Ensure full compliance with Irish payroll legislation (PAYE, PRSI, USC) and local employment law
* Manage payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end / year-end reporting
* Supervise and develop a payroll team member, allocating workload and managing deadlines
* Support employee and manager payroll queries, ensuring a high level of service
* Coordinate benefits, pensions, and statutory deductions
* Process complex payroll elements including RSUs, terminations, and time & attendance data
* Maintain payroll records, controls, and documentation in line with statutory requirements
* Partner with HR and Finance on payroll data, reporting, and system enhancements
* Contribute to payroll automation, process improvements, and systems projects
Required experience
* Extensive experience in
Irish payroll
and end-to-end payroll operations & running
large, multi-entity payrolls
(typically 500+ employees)
* Strong knowledge of
PAYE, PRSI, USC
, and payroll compliance
* Experience with
Workday
and
ADP / Celergo
payroll environments
* Exposure to
multi-country or EMEA payrolls
* Proven experience with payroll audits, controls, and reconciliations
* Advanced
Excel
skills for payroll analysis, reconciliations, and reporting;
SARP exposure
is a strong advantage
* Experience supervising or supporting payroll team members
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Fluent English, written and spoken
