Seeking a Homeless Service Manager to lead and manage our homeless service, ensuring efficient operation and support for service users. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating social projects, property and facilities management, and a strong understanding of trauma-informed practices.
Job Purpose:
As Homeless Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the service, supervising and supporting a team, and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks. You will also provide ongoing support and development in housing-led and trauma-informed practices, fostering a collaborative team environment and building relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain service operations, including staff supervision, training, and appraisals.
* Ensure the safety and security of all service users, employees, volunteers, and the service.
* Coordinated daily activities and services to meet the needs of clients and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Developed and implemented policies and procedures to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
* Provided regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in a relevant field, such as social care or social work.
* Experience in managing teams and coordinating social projects.
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and principles.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools.
* Ability to build relationships and represent the organization externally.
