We are a busy boutique hair salon in the heart of Cork City.
We pride ourselves on offering a very high level of service paired with a luxurious and relaxing experience, what we call the Reeb experience.
Due to a senior staff member relocating we are looking for an experienced Salon Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis.
The role is full time and the hours are currently 36 hours over a 3 day working week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday however these could be flexible for the right candidate. There may be a requirement to work Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays but this would be on an occasional basis - holiday cover etc.
As a Salon Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients receive what we call the Reeb experience while also helping to manage our team to ensure a smooth, enjoyable working environment for all.
The ideal candidate would be approachable, personable and able to work calmly and confidently in a fast paced, yet luxurious environment.
The Salon Coordinators responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.
· Greeting clients upon their arrival
· Answering clients' questions about services via phone, email or in person.
· Managing the time and the columns of the staff working on the floor.
· Processing transactions and maintaining accurate client records.
Responsibilities
* Book and confirm appointments via phone and email.
* Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts.
* Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability.
* Inform clients about our Reeb services and products.
* Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards).
* Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered.
* Maintain the retail area of the salon to be well stocked and visually appealing.
* Promote a positive working environment for the team, be approachable and be a real team player.
Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role.
* Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems.
* Familiarity with processing transactions.
* Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude.
* Solid organisation and record-keeping skills.
