The Role
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will develop and manage a range of customer types within your geographical area. You will follow projects from conception to completion, visiting all stakeholders from clients and architects/specifiers at the early design stages to merchants and installers later in the process.
Your week will be structured as follows: Monday is a 'phoning day' from your home office for booking meetings and following up on projects and customers. From Tuesday to Friday, you will be field-based, visiting clients (approximately 20 per week) and presenting technical solutions. Meetings will vary from brief interactions in merchant branches to detailed design and specification discussions with professional specifiers and end users.
In your first year, we will train you to manage your time effectively and structure your week to become a complete sales professional. We provide comprehensive organisation, sales, and technical product training throughout your first year to ensure practical understanding.
You will report to the Sales Manager and receive active support and field accompaniment regularly.
