Responsibilities
Sales Execution: Engages in conversations with customers aligned to their industry, collaborates with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities, and builds pipeline. Identifies customer business and technology readiness, proactively maps external stakeholders, implements strategies to accelerate deal closing, contributes input on strategies for prioritized opportunities, coaches junior team members, and executes close plans.
Business Value Selling: Hunts new security opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business contacts and partners, understanding customer priorities, governance, decision, and budget processes, and landing the value proposition.
Scaling and Collaboration: Applies role orchestration model and navigates the Microsoft organization to maximize impact. Collaborates with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identifies new partners, develops joint proposals, and contributes to partner strategies.
Technical Expertise: Initiates security discussions with business decision-makers, shares best practices, and acts as a subject matter expert. Analyzes competitor solutions, mentors others, and develops strategies for best practice sharing. Acts as a SME in solution areas and collaborates internally to inform pursuit decisions.
Sales Excellence: Collaborates with partners for account planning, competitive analysis, forecasting, and business analysis to pursue high-potential customers.
Learning and Results: Demonstrates a learning mentality in cybersecurity, drives project execution, collaborates across teams, and leverages others in relevant work streams.
