* Responsible for the development, endorsement and implementation of global CIP initiatives for Bio-production Raw Materials & Technologies* Coordinating Supplier Risk Management & Value Beyond Savings initiatives for the category* Lead Zoetis' Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Governance activities within Global Manufacturing & Supply Procurement* Provides support to Biologics sites to Develop CIPs, complete contracts and improve supplier performance via a structured Supplier Relationship Management program* Will provide support to Biologics sites to develop and execute innovative procurement solutions to continuously improve the value, quality and service received by Zoetis within the assigned spend areas* Responsible for the tracking status between Global Manufacturing & Supply Procurement and Global Manufacturing Technology organisations on all Product Qualifications/Transfers and NPI's within the assigned spend areas.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES*** Development of category strategies for Bio-production raw materials and technologies within the assigned spend areas* Updating Bio-production Category Strategies through benchmarking industry best practices, reviews of new technical developments and Zoetis future GMS needs.
* Negotiate contracts to support the Global Category Strategies for Bio-Production raw materials & technologies.
* Develop and monitor contract management processes ensuring timely execution of contracts and compliance to principal company guidelines.
* Develop a rolling 3-year program of CIP initiatives for global Bio-Production raw materials & technologies categories* Supports supply risk modelling to proactively identify, eliminate or minimise any risks associated with Bio-production raw materials supply.
* Provides pricing guidance to the Biologic site procurement teams on global strategic vendors for annual budget preparation and New Product Introduction (NPI) as part of comprehensive Bio-production raw material supply strategies that deliver long term cost reduction and supply assurance.
* Supports the development of the Biologics raw material categories' Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program.
* Leads the phased implementation of SRM Governance Program inclusive of policies/procedures, training, templates and tracking metrics.
* Design, set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to accompany the SRM program to continuously improve third party performance and compliance with contracts* Coordinate and track continuous improvement, Value Beyond Savings, supplier performance, and project updates for the Biologics Platform procurement leadership team* Coordinate with Quality and Operations to ensure compliance with relevant Zoetis guidelines and policies* Support Global QA & EHS initiatives inclusive of ongoing modeling for Biologic Raw materials suppliers* Coordinate with other functions and impacted stakeholders to assure timely implementation and compliance with the agreed to sourcing/project strategies* Continually evaluate and monitor market conditions to support sourcing strategies* Conduct annual reviews of site purchased and managed biologics raw materials to ensure compliance with global category strategies, contracts and supplier risk management policy**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**Education:* Minimum Bachelor of Science, in Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry / Molecular Biology / Chemical Engineering/ Procurement & Supply Chain .
Advanced qualification including MBA would be preferable.Experience:* Technical or manufacturing background in the Bio-Pharma/ Pharma Industry is strongly preferred* Proven Experience in Category Strategy Development in Pharma/ Bio-Pharm industry* 5+ years Data/Business Management experience preferable in a strategic context* Knowledge of Bio-Production global supply base & supply chain processes and systems for sourcing Bio-Production raw material and technologies* Demonstrable track record of performance in managing complex, cross-functional activities on a Global basis* Stakeholder management experience at a Senior Global Level within Zoetis and major bio-production strategic suppliers* Skills: + Ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic matrix environment + Clearly convey information through a variety of media to stakeholders + Demonstrated analytical and problem resolution skills for procurement issues + Root cause analysis to recommend solution and solve problems + Ability to independently evaluate, assess and initiate action; recognition of positive and negative impacts of actions, decisions, other market forces on business and people + Ability to lead small team in projects + Builds and sustains positive cross functional relationships + Handles conflicts and negotiations effectively + Collaborates and works well with others + Proactively seeks others for feedback, interest; sharing knowledge; inclusion and involvement + Strong business acumen and proved ability to understand P&L execution and total cost drivers**ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS*** Directly reports to Sr.
Director, Biologics and APAC Procurement* Peer To Peer working relationship with GMS Biologics Platform Site Procurement leads & Category Strategy Leads* Strong working relationship with the GMS Site Leads, Quality, EHS, GMT and VMRD functions that affect the supply base* Working relationship with Bio-Production supply base and external enabling functions as required.
***Financial Accountability**** Supporting Strategic Sourcing management of approximately US $220 million in annual spend* Biologics Raw materials key materials within the Zoetis internal GMS network and Customer Supplied Materials into Contract Manufacturers* Geographic scope: Global* Based in Dublin, Ireland* Global travel is required (<20%)***Supervision**** Reports to Sr.
