Location: Shillelagh Purpose of the Role You will be part of the R&D Team, supporting the successful launch of new products in line with customer timelines.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.You will be responsible for the execution of customer development projects, ensuring delivery of innovation, technical and commercial objectives, through cross functional collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.Reporting to the Senior Development Technologist, you will work within the NPD team to deliver New Product Development (NPD) projects aligned with customer critical path timelines.Your responsibilities will include ensuring all validation stages are completed such as sensory (organoleptic) testing, shelf-life assessments and nutritional checks-in line with customer codes of practice and Pilgrim's Europe OPEX standards.Key Responsibilities 1.DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION Responsible for delivery of approved product development projects from customer briefs, and business initiatives through to launch in sites, to include: Innovation Product transfers Product improvement and sku rationalisation Responsible for ensuring products are representative of the manufacturing process and the product concept approved by the customer in terms of technical and quality standards 2.CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS Direct customer interaction To undertake travel to visit customers and suppliers as required.Support customer site visits, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.2.COMMUNICATION Working effectively with other key stakeholders to ensure all aspects of product delivery Responsible for leading cross functional Critical Path NPD meetings
