Job Description
The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to the teaching, research, outreach, and administrative activities in the Discipline of Radiation Therapy. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to expanding their reputation in teaching and research in the field of radiation therapy. The applicant should have experience working in a radiation therapy clinical department and possess research and clinical experience that will underpin their teaching.
Tenure and Salary
Post status: Tenure‑Track – a 5‑year appointment, subject to satisfying tenure requirements. Salary is on the Assistant Professor merged Salary Scale (€43,425–€103,582 per annum).
Responsibilities
Teaching within a Radiation Therapy curriculum, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Research and translational studies in radiation therapy, aligned with the Discipline’s priorities.
Engagement with clinical partners, clinicians, physicists, and other stakeholders to establish collaborations.
Contributing to outreach activities and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience working in a radiation therapy clinical department.
Strong research record in radiation therapy, including publications.
Experience in teaching and curriculum development in radiation therapy.
Commitment to quality and suitability for a tenure‑track position.
