Head of Finance & OperationsPart-timeProfessional ServicesPosition DescriptionOur client is looking for a Financial Controller to manage the finance and operational activity of its business. This is a part time role, either three days per week or five mornings (25 hours), hybrid model. Reporting to the CEO and supported by one direct report key responsibilities will include:Preparation and presentation of annual CapEx and OpEx budgets and progress against budgetsDevelopment of financial reporting packs (monthly Management Accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and presentation to the Finance and Governance Committee, CEO, and leadership team.End-to-end management of the finance, payroll and pension systems and processes.Preparation of all tax returns (VAT, PRSI, etc).Preparation for the yearly statutory audit process.Banking, investment and treasury management.Management of the contract and SLA with the outsourced IT Service provider.Management of key lease agreements such (eg. office, IT) operating requirements (insurance, licenses).Act as the Company Secretary.As part of the Senior Management team, contribute to the strategic and operations agenda.Candidate BackgroundIdeal candidate will have the following background:Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.Audit training background and experience in accounts preparation, report writing, SMEs, statutory tax returns and company secretarial returns.Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.Must be flexible, prioritise, work to deadlines and ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner.About Our ClientOur client is a leading well-known professional services firm, an SME.RemunerationCompetitive Salary commensurate with experience, with strong benefits (10% Pension, Permanent Health Insurance, Life Assurance).
