This leadership role focuses on managing production schedules, ensuring efficiency and quality, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This position represents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to work within one of Irelands leading CooperativesDuties and Responsibilities:Plan and organize production schedules.Manage the butter process on a day-to-day basis, including ingredient deliveries, product dispatch, and ingredient mixing.Drive process efficiency to achieve budgeted plant performance targets.Ensure product quality standards are consistently met.Maintain health and safety compliance, including conducting risk assessments and implementing safe work practices.Oversee daily staff management, including rostering, performance reviews, training, and effective communication.Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the butter plant, product warehouse, and ingredient mixing areas.Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.Contribute as an active member of the Site Management Team, supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall site performanceRequirements:3rd Level Qualification .3 years experience ideally in a food manufacturing environment.Experience in Change Management & Continuous Improvement ProjectsStrong Leadership and People Management skillsAbility to build strong relationships as part of a teamExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to work on own initiativePersonal drive, attention to detail and an ability to prioritise & manage multiple deadlinesApplication ProcessThe company reserves the right to select a shortlist from the applications received.
