As a Technical Sales Representative you will be part of our sales team and you will aim to interpret our customer’s needs and technical requirements as well as to communicate our product features. Training will be provided however sound technical understanding is imperative.
Main Responsibilities:
Travelling to visit potential clients and searching for new clients who could benefit from our products throughout Ireland.
Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with valued customers.
Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
Administering client accounts.
Preparing reports for sales meetings.
Recording and maintaining customer contact data.
Develop collaboration with selected business partners for mutual development of business.
Conducting pricing analysis on customer base, creating strategies for maximising return whilst ensuring customers remain loyal and fairly treated.
Design and manage sales activities and initiatives related to key accounts across the region with significant impact on overall results and objectives.
Understand and keep up to date with market trends and customer requirements, translate it to solutions to meet customer needs.
Support marketing by attending trade shows and other marketing events.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how products will meet customer needs.
Providing pre‑sales technical assistance and product education.
Monitor financial & payment performance of key accounts, including accurate invoicing.
Key Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in sales in the area of raw material (sheets) for manufacturers and carpenters and/or in the area of construction projects is a distinct advantage.
To be a positive person and to have ‘can do’ attitude, able to work remotely and be self‑motivated.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Resilience and tenacity to deliver quotas. Independent and target focused.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Sound judgement and good commercial sense.
