The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading and delivering the internal audit function. Hybrid model and excellent benefits offered. This is an ideal role for a Newly Qualified Accountant with audit experience to gain exposure to all areas within a dynamic and thriving industry business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and present an Annual Internal Audit Plan to the Audit Committee, based on a comprehensive risk assessment, including defined tasks, assignments, and timelinesPlan and execute audit assignments to ensure compliance with internal policies and proceduresConduct internal audits and ad hoc reviews to assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and IT controlsPrepare detailed reports for management outlining audit findings, along with practical recommendations to strengthen controls and address identified gapsMonitor and follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely resolution of control issuesSupport management in implementing best practices and strengthening internal controlsLead the annual group-wide risk assessment processContribute to ongoing operational and systems-related projects, including potential project leadership responsibilitiesAssist with company secretarial and compliance-related requirements as neededQualifications & ExperienceFully qualified member of a recognised professional accountancy bodyRelevant experience gained within an accounting firm’s audit function or within the internal audit function of a large organisationStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the businessProven ability to assess business areas, identify audit needs, and recommend practical, value-adding solutionsConfidence to challenge existing practices and policies constructivelyComfortable presenting findings and recommendations to senior and middle managementDemonstrates intellectual curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a drive to add valueFull clean driver’s licence and access to own transport is required
