Job Title: Maintenance Planning Specialist

The role of a Maintenance Planning Specialist involves coordinating and overseeing maintenance activities to ensure they are carried out safely, on time, and in compliance with company standards. As the central link between maintenance workstreams, this specialist ensures alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities include planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities, managing maintenance tasks within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring all work is documented, compliant, and audit-ready at all times. Additionally, the Maintenance Planning Specialist serves as the main contact for assigned maintenance crews, covering Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Mechanical disciplines.

Other Key Responsibilities include:
\
* Ensure all maintenance activities are done safely and timely.
\
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
\
* Be an advocate for Safety & Quality standards within the maintenance group.
\
* Troubleshoot maintenance issues within area of responsibility.
\
* Own the planning and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
\
* Planning and documenting how work is to be completed.
\
* Ensuring spare parts are available.
\
* Coordinating various craft disciplines and vendors to execute maintenance activities.
\
* Ensure all work is documented appropriately following ALCOA+ principles.
\
* Updating of job plans to ensure accuracy.
\
* Managing craft allocation to respond to changing priorities.
\
\
Requirements:
\
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry setting. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work independently and without direct supervision, with a proven commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
\
Essential Qualifications include:
\
* FETAC Level 6 or equivalent in either E&I or Mechanical discipline.
\
* Ms Office Suite advanced skills.
\
* CMMS experience essential.
\
\
This is a contract role that requires flexibility to support other areas within the maintenance team. Travel may be required from time to time to conferences or off-site training locations.
