Geotechnical Engineer Dublin Geotechnical Engineer with 4+ years experience required to join a highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with offices across Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of infrastructure, commercial, residential, and industrial projects while working alongside an experienced geotechnical and civil engineering team. The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of geotechnical design packages and assisting with ground investigation and foundation design for major engineering developments. Duties: Assisting with the delivery of geotechnical design packages on infrastructure and development projects Carrying out geotechnical assessments including foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks Assisting in the planning and procurement of ground investigation contracts Preparing technical reports, design calculations, and specifications Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients Supporting the delivery of projects in accordance with Eurocode 7 and relevant Irish / UK standards Assisting with site inspections and interpretation of ground investigation data Requirements: Honours Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Structural Engineering 4+ years post graduate Geotechnical design experience within an engineering consultancy Experience in geotechnical design to Eurocode 7 Experience carrying out ground investigations and geotechnical reporting Familiarity with software such as GeoStudio, Holebase / Openground, Wallap or similar Strong communication and technical report writing skills Experience working within an engineering consultancy in Ireland or the UK Salary & Benefits: €50k - €60k DOE Pension Bonus Flexible Working Hours Hybrid Working CPD Training & Upskilling Paid Professional Memberships 26 Days Annual Leave Paid Sick Leave Tax Saver Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Employee Assistance Programme If you are a Geotechnical Engineer considering your next career move, please contact Jake Killeen for a confidential discussion.
