Adult Mental Health Occupational Therapy Role
We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our adult mental health team, providing high-quality recovery-focused care to individuals admitted to our in-patient unit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out comprehensive assessments of occupational performance, function, and recovery needs.
* Plan and implement tailored treatment programmes using evidence-based approaches.
* Facilitate individual and group interventions, such as life skills training and creative therapy.
* Support service users in developing skills for self-care, productivity, leisure, and community living.
* Contribute to discharge planning, including community liaison and activity-based recovery planning.
* Maintain high professional standards in documentation and record keeping.
Requirements:
* Bachelor/Masters degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by CORU.
* CORU registration.
* Experience in mental health or related area.
