We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Healthcare Supervisor to lead care delivery, support our care assistants, and ensure the highest standards of service for our clients.Job Summary:The Healthcare Supervisor is a vital member of the leadership team, responsible for supervising care staff, ensuring compliance with care standards, and maintaining the quality of person-centred care services. This role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of healthcare practices, and a genuine commitment to improving customer outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Conduct care supervision visits and risk assessmentsOnboard new clients with tailored care plans and risk assessmentsTrain, mentor, and assess new healthcare assistants (HCAs)Monitor and evaluate the quality of care deliveryPrepare, review, and update care plans in collaboration with the Care ManagerProactively address and resolve care-related issuesFoster a positive, professional team culture and manage conflicts as neededSupport rota coordination and maintain service coverageBuild and maintain trusting relationships with clients and their familiesProvide direct care support when necessaryEnsure accurate and timely incident reportingKeep carer competency assessments currentReport daily complaints to the Client Care Manager, including full details of any resolved personallyProvide direct care support and cover care calls when necessaryConduct quarterly client reviewsMentor HCAs and participate in the on-call rota (including every second weekend)Deliver all care in line with Liberty Living Homecare policies, always upholding dignity, privacy, and independenceQualifications:QQI Level 5 Health Care Award or equivalent (or currently pursuing)Full, clean driver's licence and access to a vehicle – EssentialExperience:Experience in a similar supervisory or senior care role is essentialBackground in homecare, domiciliary care, or healthcare settingsSkills & Competencies:Personal care expertise: bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility supportStrong verbal and written communicationActive listening and interpersonal skillsTeam leadership and mentoring abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office and care management softwareCompassion, empathy, and a client-first mindsetFlexibility, problem-solving skills, and attention to detailProfessional appearance, confidentiality, and punctualityWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMParticipation in the on-call rota, including every second weekendJob Type: Full-timePay: From €31,000.00 per yearWork Location: On the road
