Assistant Night Manager
to join a high-volume, fast-paced hotel operation in Dublin.
This property boasts
252 bedrooms and 8 meeting rooms
, with a particularly busy events calendar driven by concerts and large-scale functions.
This role is ideal for a driven hospitality professional looking to step into a leadership position within a dynamic and demanding environment.
The Assistant Night Manager will play a key role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night hours.
You will ensure exceptional guest service, maintain security standards, and support operational departments while leading the night team.
This position requires a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide a
safe and secure environment
for guests, staff, and visitors at all times
Ensure all departmental standards are achieved and maintained, with team members fully trained and compliant
Conduct regular
security checks
across the hotel, including fire walks and safety inspections
Ensure all corridors, fire exits, staircases, and storage areas remain clear and compliant
Collect room service breakfast cards during nightly patrols
Support the delivery of
room service and light refreshments
in guest rooms and lobby areas
Oversee and assist with
night cleaning operations
across public areas, meeting rooms, F&B outlets, kitchen, and staff facilities
Assist in
restaurant, bar, or lounge operations
when required
Handle
guest queries and telephone enquiries
professionally and efficiently
Provide
front office services
, including check-in and check-out
Complete and manage the
night audit process
Ensure all
cash handling and reconciliation procedures
are followed, including night bar closure
Support
meeting room setup and service
where required
Requirements (Must Have)
Previous experience in
hospitality is essential
Minimum
1-2 years' experience as a Night Supervisor or Assistant Night Manager
(or ready to step up)
Experience with
Opera PMS
is highly desirable
Strong
customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent
communication skills
, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during night operations
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Must be currently
living in Ireland with the right to work in ROI
