Solution Architect - IoT/ICT

This role focuses on designing and bringing to life mobile and mobile security solutions for Three's IoT/ICT business and government customers.
Design, implement and articulate technology solutions that address customer requirements using the Three IoT/ICT product portfolio. Engage with customers who are often large corporates or government agencies, and work in a dynamic environment using the latest technologies.
Work with sales teams to position Three solutions ahead of competitors, using innovative thinking and clear demonstrations to win customer buy-in. Combine technical knowledge, industry insight, and strong communication to secure customer confidence in Three for mobility/IoT solutions, ensuring buy, build and in-life processes are followed for smooth delivery by Three's implementation and in-life support teams.

What else it involves
* Responsibility and accountability for the customer design of Three's mobile and mobile security ICT solutions, including connectivity of Three's 3CS and IoT portfolio to meet customer needs.
* Designing all aspects of a solution and handing over to the business implementation teams so they can build the solution for the customer.
* Collaborating with the ICT/IoT Agile Tribe and Chapters to communicate customer needs beyond our current portfolio.
* Act as the voice of the customer to help define potential new innovative solution requirements.
* Documenting the design in written form and presenting to the customer using PowerPoint or other tools as required.
* Excellent communication to listen to customer needs, recap requirements, identify gaps, and demonstrate Three's breadth of mobility, security & ICT/IoT solutions.
* Working with Account Directors and account managers to develop technical solutions for customer needs.
* Collaborating with the Three managed service desk to upskill knowledge on ICT/IoT solutions consumed by customers (in-life).
* Maintaining knowledge of competitor solutions and feeding this into the ICT/IoT Agile Tribe & chapters to stay aligned or ahead of market trends.
* Assisting account managers in building quotes/proposals and conducting commercial evaluations of solutions.
* Working with senior mobility experts on large complex solutions and across Centres of Excellence to align stakeholders and move proposals forward.
* Interacting with Three's core network and technology teams to ensure viability of solutions.
* Owning the technical relationship for each customer's use of Three's solutions and their needs.

Skills we're looking for
* Maintaining technical knowledge through training and self-learning on technologies such as MDM/EMM (Workspace One & Intune, Citrix, Soti); mobile security solutions including MFA; Fixed wireless access; Cisco Umbrella; APNs; SMS platforms. IoT device solutions desirable but not essential.
* Design ownership for Three's mobile and mobile security ICT solutions, including connectivity of Three's 3CS and IoT portfolio.
* Experience with presales support for sales teams (5+ years).
* Degree in BSc Engineering Science or equivalent industry certifications.
* Excellent technical knowledge in mobile areas (EMM/MDM, IoT, security services).
* Ability to work with senior experts on large complex solutions across Centres of Excellence.
* Strong knowledge of competitor solutions to keep sales channels informed of market shifts.
* Ability to cost technical solutions and build a business case/proposal.
* Direct experience selling to all business types and sizes.
* Ability to use Visio or similar design documentation tools.
* Strong understanding of mobility-related technologies (MFA, EMM/MDM, VPN, IPSec, APN, 3G-5G).
* Knowledge of Cloud services & Enterprise Managed Mobility (Citrix, Avanti, Workspace ONE, Microsoft Intune).
* Some practical experience with XDR technologies & MFA is a plus.
