Financial Accountant Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the accounting ledgers for a portfolio of clients and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and consolidation, with experience in producing monthly and quarterly accounts, as well as VAT and RCT returns. You will also be responsible for overseeing the annual audit process and working closely with the Director of Financial Services to implement new processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the accounting ledgers for a portfolio of clients
* Produce monthly and quarterly accounts, including consolidated statements
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of VAT and RCT returns
* Oversee the annual audit process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
* Work closely with the Director of Financial Services to implement new processes and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A strong background in auditing and consolidation
* Experience in producing monthly and quarterly accounts, as well as VAT and RCT returns
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in common Excel formulas and software
