We operate 2 cement plants, over 100 quarries, 50 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete plants, as well as a range of contract surfacing and other essential products to help our customers build the places where we all live, work, and play.Our People are our passion, by working as One Breedon, with shared goals and a common purpose, we are making a material difference.We are keeping it simple; we are making it happen, we are striving to improve, we are showing we care.Overview:We are currently seeking a shift transport planner / weighbridge operator to join our team at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad.As a shift transport planner / weighbridge operator you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently carrying out all duties associated with the operation and management of the weighbridge.Key ResponsibilitiesWeighing in/out materials and recording data for invoicing.Controlling site entry, as well as directing goods and emergency personnel, when required.Recording truck dispatch and return times.Managing stationary stock for weighbridge operations and maintaining cleanliness and functionality of weighbridge area.Promoting and prioritising our high standards of safety culture.Handling sales enquiries, orders and maintaining invoice documentation.Maintaining communication with customers and other stakeholders, including logging and forwarding any/all complaints.Organising lorry fleet, haulage and raw material imports to meet demand.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseStrong oral and written communicationOrganised and analytical; proficient in weighbridge softwareConfident with good interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in similar role preferredGood numeracy for accurate data processingFlexible to do shift work.
