Phlebotomist – Cork – (Job Ref: 26/PBCK)
Location: ***** St Patrick's St, Centre, Cork, T12 FY05, Ireland.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Working Hours / Shifts: 8.20am to 5pm, 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday.
Some flexibility may be required.
Vaccination: Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage.
Background check: Required to undergo a Garda vetting background check.
Role Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into Patient Information Systems (PIS).
Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
Engage in upselling and cross-selling at the private health clinic.
Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
Essential Criteria
Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
Confident using IT programmes.
Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month.
Strong communication skills.
Right to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship.
Desirable
Experience in a private healthcare setting.
Experience in customer service.
2 years experience in Phlebotomy.
Sales / Retail experience.
Valid Irish driving licence.
