We are currently recruiting for "Experienced" Retail Store Manager in Ballymaley Ennis, Co. Clare
Role Objective
As a Retail Store Manager at, you will be fully accountable for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the store. You will drive sales, ensure operational excellence, and lead a motivated team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for our customers. This is a hands-on, commercial role that requires strong leadership, retail acumen, and a passion for results.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
2. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet business objectives.
3. Set clear expectations and KPIs for team members across all departments.
4. Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating work culture aligned with Homesavers values.
5. Manage roster, attendance, and payroll processes efficiently.
6. Customer Experience & Store Standards
7. Champion outstanding customer service across the store.
8. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
9. Ensure visual merchandising and product displays are consistent with brand guidelines.
10. Maintain impeccable store presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
11. Store Performance
12. Take ownership of store performance including sales targets, margins, and key KPIs.
13. Analyse sales data, footfall, and conversion rates to identify trends and opportunities.
14. Implement commercial strategies to drive revenue and customer retention.
15. Operational Excellence
16. Oversee all daily operations including opening/closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling.
17. Ensure accurate implementation of company procedures, policies, and compliance.
18. Conduct regular audits on pricing, inventory, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
19. Manage deliveries, replenishment, stockroom organisation, and cycle counts.
20. Staff Management
21. Participate in recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
22. Handle employee relations matters including performance management and conflict resolution.
23. Maintain compliance with all company policies and legal obligations including Health & Safety, GDPR, and Employment Law.
24. Visual Merchandising & Promotions
25. Execute company promotional plans, POS changes, and seasonal campaigns effectively.
26. Adapt visual merchandising to suit local customer profiles and maximise sales.
27. Health & Safety & Security
28. Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff by adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
29. Conduct regular risk assessments and emergency procedures.
30. Monitor security systems, handle incidents appropriately, and reduce shrinkage.
31. Reporting
32. Report weekly on store performance, staffing, and KPIs.
33. Use internal systems to manage sales data, stock levels, and staff performance.
34. Liaise with head office and regional management to align on business priorities.
