Head of Marketing & Events
The client is a high profile & long-established organisation headquartered in Limerick city centre. They have engaged us in CPL to recruit an experienced marketing, events & communications focused professional for this newly created Head of Marketing & Events role.
Job Overview
As a key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success of the company’s marketing, events & communications programmes and help drive additional growth and long‑term expansion of the organisation.
Responsibilities include defining and developing forward‑looking marketing strategies, creating high‑quality and engaging content and communications both digital and traditional, delivering engaging events across the organisation’s remit, rolling out client‑targeted engagement and re‑engagement campaigns, overseeing the organisation’s brand identity in the region, taking ownership of CRM and data reporting activities, liaising directly with key external partners and stakeholders, leading project teams and acting as key support to the CEO in their duties.
Skills & Experience
3rd level degree qualified or above in marketing or a related discipline.
4+ years of relevant marketing, events planning and communications focused experience ideally gained within a fast‑paced commercially focused organisation.
Fully proficient with marketing analytics and creative tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage directly with a wide range of external stakeholders and partners.
Proven ability to self‑manage, plan strategy and deliver on projects.
Full and clean Irish driving licence (occasional travel required).
Offer
This is a full‑time/permanent position with a base salary that depends on experience and qualifications, expected to range up to approximately 60k.
The role is fully office‑based in Limerick city centre but may involve occasional travel to events, conferences and other related activities.
Candidates with restricted visa/work permit status will not be considered.
