Join us in shaping your career, where ambition is realised, teamwork is at our core and success is celebrated.Currently, we are hiring a R&D Project Manager to support our Automotive client in Galway.Duties and Responsibilities:Apply the specific PDP of PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)In charge of the robust design in line with the economic targetsApplies Standardisation rules, exceptionally will request the standardisations based on sound justificationsCall for all necessary design reviewsMake sure that Design Reviews of other networks are happening in a timely manner (Purchase, Industrial)Represent the R&D function at the customerInterface with the customer for the R&D subjects of the project,break down and cascade internally customer requests and needsReport and escalate to project manager or R&D manager as neededDaily management of all R&D contributors, dedicated or notAssign contributors the work packages neededRegular review with R&D manager or Product Manager and the Discipline Department Managers to check alignment between needs and availabilitiesAuthority:Accountable for the deliverables of R&D due to ensure the success of the projectResponsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of R&D activitiesEmpowered by R&D Manager to manage their Contributors.Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment’s, investmentsEstablish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestonesFollow activities and spending of scope to meet allowed budgetRequirements:Minimum 5 years’ experience in R&D project management in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices or another similar environmentExperience in dealing with customers with the ability to interpret customer requests with clear communication.Fluent in English with a clear and confident communication abilityExtensive experience in planning of projects & use of planning tools such as MS project or similar planning toolsAt Atlantach we offer a highly competitive benefits package, including:Competitive salary and holiday entitlements.Flexible hours and remote working options; role dependant.Pension Scheme.Healthcare Insurance cover.Further education financial assistance.Access to a personal financial advisor.Bike to work scheme.Employee engagement and company-wide events.Atlantach Technical Services is an Equal Opportunities Employer
