Your new role As a valued member of the commercial team, this role involves preparing accurate and competitive tenders for high-value mechanical projects across a range of sectors. Key responsibilities include: Prepare detailed mechanical estimates Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Create comprehensive cost breakdowns including materials, labour, and plant Participate in bid reviews and client meetings Support project handovers to delivery teams Track tender progress and follow up for feedback Build relationships with customers to promote repeat business. Suggest value engineering options to improve cost efficiency What you'll need to succeed At least 5 years' experience in mechanical estimating within the construction industry Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems Proficient in estimation software and MS Office Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected company delivering a wide range of projects across Northern Ireland, GB, and beyond.
