Join a forward-thinking engineering team dedicated to advancing automated inspection capabilities.Work with a leader in production innovation, fostering a culture of research and technical excellence.Benefit from deep collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams in a modern facility.About Your New JobAs the Machine Vision Engineer you will support the assessment, design, installation, and maintenance of automated inspection solutions using Machine Vision and Image Processing technologies.You will contribute to the design and development of vision system architectures (hardware and software), under guidance from senior engineers.You will develop and configure vision applications using Cognex, Keyence, or similar platforms, supporting software and algorithm development as required.You will commission, test, troubleshoot, and support new and existing manufacturing equipment integrating vision systems.You will participate in data handling, performance optimization, and support validation/benchmarking of vision solutions.You will work hands-on with automation, electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and computer hardware/software in a production environment.What Skills You NeedLevel 8 NFQ qualification (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine vision, automation, or equipment engineering roles (graduate-level experience may be considered).Practical exposure to machine vision platforms (Keyence XG/XGX or Cognex In-Sight, Designer, VisionPro) and basic image processing concepts.Ability to code or configure software applications (C#, VB, C/C++), understanding communication with PLC- or PC-based control systems.Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Preferred: Experience in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, pharma), knowledge of equipment validation, and automation/robotics exposure.What's NextApply now by clicking the “Apply Now
