Jonix began in 2002 and has developed and grown over the past 23 years to 7 preschool services across Dublin, Meath and Kildare.Job DescriptionPosition: Early Years FacilitatorReport to: Director of ServicesPurpose of job:Implement Early Years Curriculums & Initiatives, as well as Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for children attending the services.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplement Early Years Curriculums and initiatives across all of the Jonix schoolsDirect teaching and implementation of PBSPs and IEPsReviewing and monitoring data.Conduct appropriate research in academic journals, Continuous Professional Development, recent literature (and other sources were necessary), to ensure the most appropriate evidence-based practices are utilized.Staff Training.Supporting teachers in the daily running of schools and classrooms including but not limited to: general school classroom management, teaching students, assignment of tutors to students, break times for staff, moment-to-moment decisions regarding implementation of goals/plans for students, advice and support for staff.This job requires a high level of physical activity. You will be required to teach across all of the preschools classes.Attend monthly/bi monthly meetings with the director of services, regional manager, behaviour support specialist, and relevant teachers to give feedback and discuss priorities for the next month.Liaising with parents and other professionals as appropriate.Maintain contact and establish a good relationship with parents, teachers, and tutors.Collaborate with the regional manager in order to promote the overall development of the children.Have knowledge of Early Childhood Education and Care National Frameworks Aistear and Siolta.Manage the Jonix social media account, sharing the day to day activities of the childrenUndertake any other reasonable duties not specified on the job description.QualificationsDegree in Early Childhood Care & Education, Montessori Education, Primary Education, Social Care, Psychology or other relevant degreeExperience with children and ABA desirable.Place Of WorkRegion 1 - Jonix South Dublin Region: Dublin 24, Dublin 7, and Naas, Co Kildare.Region 2 - Jonix North Dublin Region: Dublin 1, Dublin 5, Dublin 15, and Kentstown, Co. Meath.The role requires you to travel & work across both regions.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)Salary:€40,170 plus laptop, phone and mileage expenses.Other:Must have a full clean driving licence.Must be eligible to register with the Teaching Council of IrelandInterviews to be held Tuesday 24th of June
