**Job Title:** Store Operations Manager




Job Description:



As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in our store. This involves supervising financial key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, wages, and shrinkage, as well as customer service and feedback.



You will also be tasked with ensuring that all visual merchandising standards are attractive and in line with weekly changes in accordance with celebratory and promotional events. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting and developing staff, volunteers, and social activation scheme employees to enhance a positive collegial atmosphere and provide excellent customer service.



Key responsibilities include meeting and exceeding ongoing retail store sales targets, ensuring adequate staffing cover at all times, and managing the shop's accounting procedures, including banking, till receipts, transactions, and cash handling.



The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail supervisory role, possess a motivational leadership style, deliver excellent store standards, and exceed store targets. They should also be able to build strong relationships with the in-store team, local community, and network of stores.



Responsibilities:

* Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets
* Ensure all visual merchandising standards are attractive and in line with weekly changes
* Recruit and develop staff, volunteers, and social activation scheme employees
* Ensure adequate staffing cover at all times
* Manage shop accounting procedures, including banking and cash handling
* Take an active lead and support for all on-going store and community-based fundraising events
* Promote the brand through local channels while ensuring communications align with brand standards
* Be responsible for all health and safety in accordance with statutory obligations
