Location: Limerick City Position: Grade III Clerical Officer Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (Hybrid working available) Pay: €17.31 - €26.79 depending on previous relevant verified public sector experience Contract: 3-month initial contract Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is up to date and correctly filed. Review and cross-check documentation for accuracy and completeness. Liaise with internal teams and external contacts to request, confirm, and share information. Support the coordination of meetings, including scheduling, preparing documentation, and recording key actions where required. Manage shared inboxes and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner. Assist with tracking progress of tasks and following up on outstanding actions. Use internal systems effectively and adapt quickly to new processes and tools. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage workload independently and work as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and Microsoft Teams. Experience managing multiple inboxes and handling a range of administrative tasks.
